REGENERATION OF THE MEMORIAL AND GOLDIE LEIGH HOSPITALS, GREENWICH

Oxleas and Greenwich Healthcare NHS Trusts have selected Anvil Healthcare Group as their preferred Private Finance Initiative ("PFI") partner for the scheme to regenerate the Memorial and Goldie Leigh Hospitals in Greenwich.

The project includes:

The upgrade of existing services at the Memorial and Goldie Leigh Hospitals in order to create modern healthcare accommodation. The schemes cover 23 acres and 18 acres respectively and currently support a wide spectrum of health service buildings. The schemes will see the provision of new mental health residential facilities, day wards and several new health facility buildings on the sites.

The Trusts will now develop the final project in partnership with Anvil Healthcare Group, in consultation with clinicians and the local community on both the future healthcare provision and the overall regeneration of the hospital sites.

Anvil Healthcare Group is a 50/50 joint venture between Healthcare Group Limited and Mount Anvil Limited formed to undertake NHS PFI community and mental health projects.
