United Healthcare are independent Electro Medical Equipment ("EME") managers under a Managed Equipment Service ("MES") contract within the NHS. This role includes:

  • Complete software system for asset logging and reporting
  • Supervision and management of EME technicians
  • Establishment of management processes
  • Introduction of EME quality systems
  • Management of a web-enabled helpdesk for logging calls
  • Due diligence audits and analysis of equipment data
  • Payment mechanism reporting for PFI/MES contracts
  • Equipment procurement comparisons and recommendations
  • Equipment lease structures, analysis and recommendations
  • Equipment maintenance analysis and contract negotiation
  • Equipment life cycle replacement analysis and proposals
  • Planned preventative maintenance arrangements
  • Performance reporting
  • Budget setting, analysis and reporting
